On May 12, 2021, our beloved 16-year old Bailey passed away from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) after participating in one of his signature sporting events, the 100m track at his high school. Sudden Cardiac Arrest  is a significant public health issue, with over 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occurring annually in the U.S. Nearly 90% of these cases are fatal.
It's essential to immediately perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as early intervention improves survival rates. Increasing public awareness and training in CPR and AED use is essential.
