Civitan International is the only large non-profit organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). It was established in 1917 with a structure of building a network of local clubs such as our own Sun City Civitan Club, to address local needs with local solutions. The goal of the annual Sun City Civitan Club Foundation Golf Tournament is to fund our Scholarship Program for children with I/DD and other special projects for the Special Needs Community in Griffin/Spalding and surrounding counties. Please note that our Sun City Civitan Club Foundation is a tax exempt public charity under IRC Section 501(c)(3).
