We are excited to announce that the 2025 Clubs for Colorectal Cancer Golf Tournament will be held on July 14, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, MA! Our entire team would like to invite you to join us in celebrating our patients while supporting our commitment to colorectal cancer prevention, early detection, and innovative treatment. The past tournaments have supported the UMass Chan and UMass Memorial Health efforts related to:

• Cutting-edge care: Offering patients in central Massachusetts access to innovative and minimally invasive surgical procedures not available at other medical centers across the country.
• Groundbreaking research: Our surgeons actively participate in and spearhead local, national, and international cancer trials, positioning UMass Chan as a leader in collaborative research. Here in Worcester, we partner with and leverage the expertise of basic scientists at UMass Chan Medical School through translational research projects.
• Mentorship, teaching, and leadership: Our five distinguished UMass Chan surgeons are training the next generation of surgeons and researchers who are advancing the understanding and management of colorectal diseases. We accomplish this through our UMass Chan fellowship training program in colorectal surgery as well as two philanthropy-funded research positions, the Mark Justin Kusek Research Fellowship in Colorectal Cancer and the Geoff and Penelope Booth Research Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery.

Our top priority remains our patients. This tournament takes the patient-surgeon relationship to a new level, allowing us to connect and collaborate towards a shared objective.
